From Ideation to implementation
Led the transformation from ideation to implementation with the WeBike project. As the Interim CTO, we seamlessly integrated technology with business strategies. Our journey included providing CTO services, merging the tech and business layers, designing and developing robust tech stacks, and executing the project on the ground with a live beta for customers.
Project Objectives/Scope
Consult ,Design and Built a electric Bike Rental Platform. We meticulously identified and conceptualized key technological components, such as real-time GPS tracking, remote ignition control for bike allocation, and a sophisticated Battery Management Algorithm. The outcome was a robust, secure, and scalable platform featuring cutting-edge UI/UX for both mobile and web applications. This comprehensive solution automated all business functions, mapped user journeys, and incorporated analytical dash-boarding and reporting for diverse users within the system.
The challenge & the solution
Create a Keyless Ignition mechanism to manage thousands of bikes spread across multiple cities, Create a Billing, metering and tracking system. Real time Road side assist with a Turn around of less than 5 minutes. Create a battery management and bike allocation and optimization algorithm, which can create most efficient bike management such that the battery capacity is always available for 10 to 20 km rides.
People using public transport wanted a quick, easy, crowd free option to get to work.
Our solution: e-bikes, that they can pick up at the station and drop off their office hubs. Using Just an App.
Create A Seamless Backend for Operations (ERP) and Support (CRM)
Our solution: Comprehensive Web Application for automating all business processes with an integrated ERP and CRM.
Metering, Billing and Payments
Our solution: GPS based metering, Billing module integrated with payment gateway for online payments through credit card, UPI or netbanking.

Designed to enhance the customer's riding experience, this app facilitates the entire journey from onboarding and registration to ride initiation, payment processing, and reporting any issues.

IoT integration
Developed a bespoke GPS tracking and monitoring platform for real-time vehicle tracking, battery status, vehicle remote ignition, and geofencing. This system allowed the client to manage thousands of edge devices in-house without relying on external IoT GPS servers.
Keyless Bike Start and Stop
QR code Validation with Auto Start and Stop. Realtime GPS track and trace. Active Geofencing for Rental Zone and Bike Parking Hubs using a combination of Bluetooth Beacons, GPS, and AGPS.
Towing Alarm
If Bike is either driven away or towed from parking bays without booking registered, then the system raises an alarm on the backend Support Desk which begins the track and trace Realtime.
Battery Swap Status
Detailed battery stats and inventory control. Tracking health like charging and discharging cycles, energy density, and expected lifetime and mileage stats.
Mapping rider behaviour

Hierarchical Operating and reporting structure
Based on Country Level, State Level, District Level, City Level to Area Level.
Customised Web Backend (ERP & CRM)
Created a system for automating all business processes, with features like multi-user roles and permissions, operational modules tailored to user profiles, and comprehensive CRM and ERP modules including sales, inventory, maintenance, acquisitions, billing, payments, HR, payroll, and support. The platform also features a dynamic escalation matrix, reporting panel, MIS, and dashboarding, scalable to 10,000 users and 5,000 electric bikes.
